ATOX eliminate NomadS
ATOX took on NomadS in the elimination match of group A at the MESA Asia Series #3. The bo1 took us to Ancient where ATOX started on the T-side with pistol and anti-eco wins but fumbled the first buy round. A series of multi-frag rounds from HenX and hoolig4n saw NomadS gain control on their T-side, putting ATOX on the backfoot.
From a good start, ATOX quickly went down to a 4-8 disadvantage with just MiQ hitting double figures in the first half. NomadS won the pistol round in the second half extending their lead to 9-4 but ATOX stole the anti-eco, giving them a chance to rack up rounds before NomadS' economy recovered.
Four of ATOX's players put up T-side ratings in excess of 1.60, with MiQ and AccuracyTG holding ratings of 1.89 and 1.83 at ADRs of 111 and 127 as ATOX pulled off a massive comeback, stringing up nine T-side rounds in a row to sweep out NomadS and secure Ancient 13-9.
With this win, ATOX eliminate NomadS from the MESA Asia Series #3 in the group stage and set up their qualification match against Just Swing.
