JiJieHao book playoffs spot with a win over ATOX
The winner’s game of Group D at ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2024 took us to a brawl between JiJieHao and ATOX that took place on Dust2 and it was the higher ranked Mongolian side ATOX getting stunned by JiJieHao, leaving the former in a do-or-die situation to make the Playoffs.
The Bo1 started off in a back-and-forth affair, but it was JiJieHao who managed to find a thin lead of 7-5. However, once the sides switched, so did their momentum. Their T-side kicked off with a flurry of rounds, as they chained together 6 to reach matchpoint. Except Bibu, everyone was going ham in the fragging department, as they closed out the match with a 13-8 win.
ATOX now will have to win a BO3 match against Nalakuvara in the Group D decider match if they want to make the quarter-finals.
