Valve updates guidelines for inviting teams with equal region representation

Valve has updated the Major Supplemental Rulebook and has redefined the invitation process for teams that have the same number of representations for different regions.

Earlier, teams without a three-player regional majority could choose their region in case of a tie. But now, that is no longer the case, and their region will be assigned based on the region with higher representation in the Major, following the order: Europe, Americas, and Asia.

So for example, if Wildcard, who has 2 American and 2 Eurpoean players, will now be invited to the European MRQ because of its higher representation. Invitations will now be issued sequentially, starting with Stage 3, then Stage 2, and finally the MRQ.
