Rare Atom faced Russian squad harizma in the final game of the opening week at the ESL Challenger League Season 49 Asia-Pacific and the Chinese team failed to walk away with two BO1 wins, dropping a map to the much lowered ranked Russian team.

The opening BO1 headed to Anubis, which saw L1haNg and ChildKing lead a big defensive half for the Chinese team before a flawless T side saw them close out the map at 13-4. The second BO1 saw Train make its debut at the ECL S49 which Rare Atom starting on the defensive side with the pistol and conversions. Rare Atom dropped an early 4-1 lead to see harizma tie up the score at the half before the Russian team dropped just a solitary round on their defensive half to run away to a 13-7 win with ZinGY topping the scoreboard with 20 kills and an ADR of 103.
