Online MRQs for BLAST Austin Major to be held across 3 Asian subregions

Nohte, Senior staff writer at HLTV, has revealed the locations for the MRQs leading up to BLAST Austin Major. This confirms that the MRQs will be held online, and will run across six different regions, three of them being in Asia.

These three Asian sub-regions include China, West Asia, and Oceania. While the number of slots accredited to these subregions is still not revealed, speculations suggest that China will get two slots, while the rest get one each. These four teams will get an invite to Stage 1, while one team will be directly sent to stage 3.

The Asian MRQ kicks off on Apr 15th 2025, and will go on till April 17th, 2025, while the Major will be held at the starting of June 2025.
