Gods Reign seals Inferno comeback to win Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 20 title
Gods Reign secured their 12th Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters title after taking down Pakistan's Come Mid in the Grand Final of the Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 20 in a 2-0 manner.
R2B2 and Ph1NNN's shutdowns saw Gods Reign lock in a massive defensive round despite losing the pistol to go 11-1 up on Come Mid's map pick. PokemoN's 1v2 in the second pistol saw Come Mid lock in both pistols on Mirage but the Pakistani team couldn't use that as a platform to begin the come back as Gods Reign ran away with Mirage at 13-4.
Gods Reign started their pick of Inferno with the T-side pistol and conversion but a Dili quad-kill in the first gun round saw Come Mid get on the board early on and it was the Pakistani team running away with five straight rounds before an A hit saw Bhavi's boys get back on the scoreboard. A couple of B hits to end the half saw Gods Reign end with a two round difference at 5-7.
It was Ph1NNN leading from the front once again and after a slow opening half, it was f1redup's AWP finding impact that saw Gods Reign's defence get going and it was Bhavi denying PokemoN a 1v2 to tie up the score at 11-11.
Gods Reign made sure Come Mid had no chance of a comeback attempt as they closed Inferno at 13-11, turning things around from 5-10, to win their map pick and close the series 2-0 to win the Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters 20.
