Shanghai Major's mascot revealed

Perfect World CS took to X to announce HAI as the mascot for their upcoming Perfect World CS2 Shanghai Major 2024. "Just as the name suggests, HAI would like to welcome everyone to the first ever CS2 Major in China with a hearty Hi!" said Perfect World CS in their X post.

As early as July 2023, sources hinted at a Counter-Strike Major in China and in November 2023, Perfect World confirmed that the second Counter-Strike 2 Major will be hosted in Shanghai. The announcement was made during the grand finals of the CS Asia Championships 2023.

The Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 is set to take place in early December 2024 and while not yet confirmed by Perfect World, the RMRs leading up to the event is speculated to take place towards the end of October.
