Grayfox stay alive in the lower bracket

Grayfox Esports take down Wasted Potential at NESC 2024 Open

After trading out the initial few rounds, Wasted Potential's T-side hit a dead end on Overpass, crumbling to Grayfox's CT-setups. The trio of Marzil, ghostxD and rite2ace kept Wasted Potential at check, securing a solid 8-4 lead in the first half. ghostxD's CT-side AWP landed massive impact as he dropped 13 frags in the first half alone.

Wasted Potential's only hope was to take advantage of Overpass's CT-side to inflict early damage onto Grayfox but once they conceded the pistol and anti-eco, Grayfox wasted no time, closing out Overpass 13-4, without dropping a single round on the T-side. Wasted Potential had just a single player,, Cara crossing double digits at 13 frags.

ghostxD sat on top of the board with 18 frags to his name, followed by Marzil at 17 frags. For his 100+ ADR and a rating of 1.72 on Overpass, ghostxD was named the MVP of the match. With this loss, Wasted Potential end their NESC 2024 CS2 open run in the lower bracket.
