maNkz leads from the front against Complexity
Taking the first map 16:12, ECSTATIC were phenomenal on Anubis with almost everyone stepping up and displaying individual brilliance. maNkz with a HLTV rating of 1.50 and ADR of 110 racked up 28 frags while calling a brilliant T-side. maNkz led from the front occasionally picking up the secondary AWP and exploiting every hole in the defense of Complexity.
Starting on the CT-side of Overpass, ECSTATIC seem to have missed a trick or two as they fumble the CT-side 3:12 in Complexity's favor on a CT-sided map. Complexity wasted no time in running away with Overpass as they finished their CT-side and the match 16:5, forcing the series into the decider, Ancient. Everyone on Complexity finished the map with HLTV ratings of over 1.25 with Fang at 1.64 while no one really stepped up from ECSTATIC's side.
Thanks to hallzerk's AWP, Complexity started their CT-side on Ancient with a great 6-0, but ECSTATIC began their uphill journey as they strung up 9 consecutive rounds to end the half 9:6 in their favor. ECSTATIC initially run away on their CT-side riding on momentum but Complexity put up a valiant comeback of 15:15, forcing the decider into overtime.
floppy and Grim stepped up for Complexity , trading rounds back and forth taking the match to a 2nd overtime and then JT's inhuman clutch took the match to a 3rd overtime. Nodios, maNkz and salazar dropped impactful plays, clean sweeping the 3rd overtime and finally winning the decider with a staggering 25:21 in triple overtime.
ECSTATIC eliminate Complexity 2:1 against all odds with the decider going to triple overtime when most predicted a 2:0 ECSTATIC exit. ECSTATIC will go up against Moveistar Riders in the semi-finals.
