Skyesports Masters might have more than 8 teams
As per an update from the Skyesports founder and CEO, Shiva Nandy, the event might feature more than the originally decided eight teams.
Nandy stated that a well-reputed esports organisation has reached out to for a spot in the upcoming CS:GO event. He also mentioned that all spots in the league has been already filled up.
The Skyesports Masters is all set to be India's biggest ever esports tournament and also the country's first-ever franchised based esports league. The tournament will have a prize pool of Rs 2 crore and will have 8 partner team competing in front of a live audience in a LAN event final in Mumbai.
The tournament will kick off with the café qualifiers across the country in more than 20 cities. Skyesports aims to revive the local Counter-Strike scene while hoping to provide upcoming talents a platform via the tournament.
