Skyesports promises special care for teams

Skyesports announces revolutionary step for the upcoming Skyesports Masters tournament

Founder and CEO of Skyesports, Shiva Nandy has announced that for the upcoming CS:GO tournament Skyesports Masters, Skyesports will cover all the expenses of the teams ranging from expenses, food and player accommodation amongst others.

Nandy put out a statement through his Twitter handle where he highlighted the high cost of travelling teams have to bear for various tournaments. In a time where esports organisations are facing economic uncertainty, worldwide, this step from Skyesports seems like much needed one, at least in India.

The Skyesports Masters is all set to be India's first ever franchised esports league with a prizepool of INR 2 Crore and will be held over 3 months across India.

this ain't making sense to me. he is saying 2 lacs on average 1 org spends to a one time delhi trip and he is saying that he is gonna cover the expenses on behalf of the org. math says you are going to spend at least 20 lacs for 1 trip of these orgs (if 10 orgs participate)? even if bulk discounts are considered, 15 lacs is required.

where is the money coming from bruh? did AMD and windows 11 go all in this league or wot?

i mean the main event would be LAN in mumbai so its not gonna be that expensive (in terms of travel expenses) since most of the orgs are bsed out of mumbai.
