GamerLegion book their Legends Stage spot
GamerLegion go through to the Legends Stage for the first time, going 2-0 against FORZE, winning out Overpass and Inferno.
Starting on GamerLegion's pick of Overpass, both teams kept trading rounds and the first half ended slightly in favor of FORZE at 9:6. FORZE got off to a flying start on their T-side in the 2nd half but were cut short by Keoz and isak, as GamerLegion dropped only 1 out of the final 8 rounds on Overpass, to take the map 16-12.
On FORZE's pick of Inferno, GamerLegion displayed a world-class CT-side as siuhy led from the front, denying FORZE crucial map control and information, as GamerLegion took the first half 11-4, only a stone's throw away from the legends stage.
zorte and r3salt came alive in the 2nd half, giving GamerLegion a taste of their own medicine, well and truly on their way to mount a valiant comeback. isak who showed up big on Overpass was having a quiet game on Inferno, but would ultimately go on the put the final nail in the coffin.
The score was 13-14 on Inferno, GamerLegion were on forced pistols and it was a nearly confirmed 14-14 for FORZE as finances looked bleak for both sides. isak, from the bottom of the scoreboard went on to open up round for GamerLegion, multi-fragging and singlehandedly winning the round for GamerLegion and breaking the economy for FORZE. GamerLegion went on to win the map 16-13 and the series with it.
