Vitality just one step away from Playoffs in Paris
Vitality and ENCE clashed in an intense battle on Vertigo, and it was Spinx kick-started the action with a triple kill, securing the pistol round for Vitality. The superstar duo of Zywoo and Spinx displayed incredible form, accumulating a total of 16 kills in just the first four rounds.
ENCE managed to break through Vitality's defence, with Nertz's mid lurk leading to their first-round win. They followed it up with two consecutive rounds, putting Vitality's economy into question. However, Magisk's double kill on the A site set up a 3v3 retake for Vitality, only to be denied by Nertz's mid-lurk again.
Sunpayus executed a hyper-hectic plant on the B site, leading to a remarkable clutch with a 4k, securing four rounds for ENCE. They took the lead at 6-5 before Vitality fought back to secure consecutive rounds. Nertz continued his stellar performance, winning a crucial 1v1 against Zywoo, allowing ENCE to close out the half with an 8-7 advantage.
Vitality responded strongly in the second half, winning the pistol round to tie the game at 8-8. The back-and-forth nature of the match continued, with ENCE initially taking the lead at 11-10, only for Vitality to regain control at 14-12.
With Vitality on the brink of victory, Zonic, the coach for Vitality, called for a crucial timeout to rally his team. The timeout worked wonders as apEX stepped up, securing two kills and bringing his team to match point at 15-13.
A final attack on the B site sealed the map in favour of Vitality, inching them one step closer to representing France in the Accor Arena. The thrilling encounter showcased the resilience and determination of both teams, but it was Vitality who emerged victorious.
