Heroic go 2-0 after mowing down Apeks
Heroic are one win away from the Playoffs after they beat Apeks in their 1-0 match on Mirage. Apeks had a strong start but once the Danes got back in the game, there was only one outcome that was possible.
The 1-0 bracket match between Heroic and Apeks took place on Mirage which saw TeSeS start the action with a 1v1 clutch against jL to give Heroic the pistol on their CT half. A force buy from Apeks with kyxsan coming in with a triple kill saw Apeks win the second round to tie up the game early on. The force buy win helped Apeks take three in a row to get to a 3-1 lead before both teams had guns out. The Danes were back on the board as soon as they got their guns out but Apeks responded immediately as kyxsan came in with a crucial multi-kill round. A triple kill hold on the B site from the Danish captain saw Heroic put up their third round and the Danes went on an seven round streak to end the first half with a 9-6 lead with cadiaN stepping up with multiple crucial B holds including a triple kill on the penultimate round of the first half.
It was a clean pistol round from Apeks to kick off the second half but Heroic came back with the force buy on the back of jabbi and sjuush's deagle openers on the B site. Heroic took three rounds before Apeks got their first gun round in the 20th round. Apeks put three together on the back of their first with multi-kills from jkaem and kyxsan to close the gap to Heroic at 10-12. Heroic secured their 13th on the back on another low buy and a TeSeS 1v2 on the B site saw Heroic take a four round lead. Heroic closed out the map 16-10 and the Danes ended their first day of the Legends Stage by going 2-0 and one win away from the Playoffs.
