GamerLegion make playoffs in Paris
GamerLegion have been on an incredible run ever since going down 0-2 in the Challengers Stage and after turning that around, they have now booked their place in the Champions Stage, as they beat Apeks in their qualification game in the Legends Stage. For Apeks, they will have one last chance to qualify for the playoffs tomorrow.
The final game of the day kicked off on Apeks' pick of Ancient. It was GamerLegion with the pistol and a conversion of the eco and the first buy round saw GamerLegion go up 3-0. It was a jL double that gave Apeks their first round in the fifth round of the game. An acoR 1v1 against STYKO saw GamerLegion right back amongst the rounds. GamerLegion's sixth came off the back of a scout, deagle and MP9s. nawwk and STYKO helped Apeks put two rounds together as GamerLegion ended the first half with a 10-5 lead.
GamerLegion picked up the second pistol but a jkaem triple on the MP9 saw Apeks bounce back with the force buy. GamerLegion responded with their own force buy and on upgraded pistols as they stole their twelfth. GamerLegion closed out the map at 16-6 with ending the map by knifing STYKO. It was a strong team performance from siuhy and his men as it was Keoz and iM on top of the scoreboard with 22 and 21 kills respectively.

nawwk kicked off GamerLegion's pick of Overpass with a 1v3 clutch to give Apeks the CT sided pistol. GamerLegion responded immediately with a quick B hit on the force buy and it helped them quickly get up to a 5-1 lead. A siuhy 1v2 saw GamerLegion turn around a 2v4 and secure their seventh. Two triple kill rounds from nawwk saw Apeks get to four. isak's 1v2 saw GamerLegion secure nine and siuhy's triple in the final round of the first half saw GamerLegion end the first half at 10-5.
Apeks took the second pistol and converted the following rounds against the upgraded pistols and the first gun round to get to eight. isak's triple kill hold saw GamerLegion get their first CT round. acoR quad kill saw GamerLegion get up to 12 iM's perfect positioning in round 23 saw him come in with a crucial triple kill on A short, just outside Connector and it put GamerLegion two rounds away from securing the map. It was iM who put GamerLegion on match point through a quad kill and a quick shut down of a B attack from Apeks, saw GamerLegion secure their place in the playoffs.
iM ended the series on top of the scoreboard with 41 kills and a 1.39 rating.
