ZywOo claims MVP at BLAST.tv Paris Major
As Vitality lifted the final Major trophy, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was crowned the MVP of the event. The 22-year-old prodigy put up a 1.39 rating at the BLAST.tv Major Paris, being the driving force behind Vitality's undefeated run at the Major.
GamerLegion's star, iM was leading the race with a 1.44 rating before the finals, but a poor first map gave ZywOo the opportunity to edge him out on the final map. iM ends the event with a 1.35 rating, a mere 0.04 below ZywOo, showcasing his immense potential and proving himself as the next big talent in CS. The Romanian was closely followed by Vitality's other gem, Spinx, who put up a 1.24 rating, stepping up whenever ZywOo needed some backup.
ZywOo put up massive performances game after game, with the GamerLegion series being his best in the event with a massive 1.54 rating. His worst performance was a still incredible 1.25 rating against Apeks. The AWPer found massive impact frags every single game and was the reason why Vitality join NAVI as the only teams to win majors flawlessly.
ZywOo topped the charts in several categories - CT rating (1.53), KD Difference (+92), Damage Difference per Round (+23.3), KPR (0.89), DPR (0.56), KAST (78%). He also placed among the top 5 in several categories - DPR (86.7, #3), Total Kills (246, #4), Multi-kill Rounds (54.2%, #2), OKPR (0.16, #4), Opening Duels Success (65.7%, #5), Impact Rating (1.47, #2).
This is the 15th MVP for ZywOo with him picking up awards previously at IEM Rio 2023, EPL S16, IEM Winter 2021, ESL One Cologne 2019, and DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019. The French player is the player with the 3rd highest MVP count after s1mple (21) and dev1ce (19).
