Heroic overcome valiant 9z
After a few early back and forth trades in the early rounds, Heroic asserted their dominance on the CT-side of Mirage as cadiaN put up a great CT-side AWP performance alongside stavn and sjuush's stellar holds on either sides of the map, ending the 1st half 11-4.
try was the only player who stepped up for 9z and showed some life in the 2nd half with his AWP but the task at hand was too big to handle, especially with Heroic's firepower, as Heroic ran away with the match 16-9, with 9z securing just 5 rounds in the 2nd half.
buda stepped up for 9z in their T-side, but similar to try, he did not have anyone with him. cadiaN, while calling the match, topped the server with 24 frags at a HLTV rating of 1.46, followed by sjuush and stavn at 23 and 21 frags with HLTV ratings of 1.34 and 1.31.
9z could have gotten off to a dream start, if they had pulled off an upset but unfortunately for them, not enough individuals stepped up. try and buda racked up 18 and 17 frags for 9z, but that was all they had to show.
