Vitality makes BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 final
Vitality have secured their final spot for the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 after they took down G2 2-1 in the semi-finals. The Paris Major champions will now face Heroic in the grand finals.
The series kicked off on Vitality's pick of Anubis and it was the Major champions who picked up the pistol thanks to a dupreeh triple kill and were 3-0 up before the guns came out on both the sides. G2's first came off the back on a NiKo 1v2 as soon as the guns came out. m0NESY's triple gave G2 their second before G2 put three on the trot to tie the game at 4-4. A couple of impactful rounds from dupreeh helped Vitality win out the half and they ended the first half with a 8-7 lead.
huNter-'s 1v1 against Magisk saw G2 win the second pistol, converting a 3v4. G2 were the first to secure double digits but a triple from Spinx on the B site, saw Vitality pick up their first CT round. G2 went on to close the first map at 16-11.
G2 picked up the pistol on Inferno but Vitality responded with eleven of their own on end the first half with a 12-3 lead on their CT half. Vitality picked up the second pistol and closed the map at 16-9 to take the series to the decider on Nuke.
Vitality won the first pistol on Nuke and were 4-0 up with a m0NESY triple got G2 on the board. G2 responded with six in a row to take the lead before Vitality put up another T round. The first half ended with a Spinx triple that helped Vitality keep G2's lead to 7-8.

Vitality picked up the final pistol of the game to tie it up and retook the lead thanks to a dupreeh triple in the following eco round. Both teams kept trading rounds and it was a huNter- ace that saw G2 secure double digits. NiKo and huNter- kept G2 in the game but it was ZywOo 1v2 that helped Vitality secure map point and a Magisk double that closed the map 16-12.
