Skyesports display strong belief in Counter-Strike

The CEO of Skyesports took to Twitter, talking about their plans for Counter-Strike

In a recent Tweet, the CEO of Skyesports, expressed the organisation's commitment to making Counter-Strike an integral part of their upcoming tournaments. The tweet was in response to concerns raised regarding the uncertainty surrounding the establishment of a robust Counter-Strike 2 circuit in India.

The CEO, Shiva Nandy, took to Twitter to address these concerns and shed light on Skyesports' plans for Counter-Strike, stating their intentions to build tournaments around the game and incorporate it into their ecosystem. By organising tournaments specifically tailored to Counter-Strike, Skyesports aims to provide Indian players with more opportunities to compete at a high level and attract the attention of sponsors and investors.

The inclusion of Counter-Strike in Skyesports' ecosystem has the potential to elevate the visibility of the game in India and foster a stronger community around it. As the Indian esports scene continues to evolve and mature, the inclusion of Counter-Strike in Skyesports' tournaments holds promise for the growth and recognition of the game within the country.

The Skyesports' roadmap for 2024 includes Skyesports Championship 5.0, Skyesports Grandslam, Skyesports Souvenir, and Skyesports SEA Championship, a range of tournaments that embrace Counter-Strike. Notably, the Skyesports SEA Championship will feature Indian teams traveling to Bangkok and Thailand, to compete against teams from the Southeast Asian (SEA) region.

Skyesports have also finalized the "Road to International" roadmap, outlining the path leading up to the International event.
