psy stars as The RAD Syndicate take down Revenge Esports
As the single elimination of the qualifiers for the TEC Arena Connect in Pune progressed to the third match, it was The RAD Syndicate who took on Revenge Esports on the map of Overpass. It was a back-and-forth affair from the very beginning, with neither team allowing the other to gain an early lead. Starting off on the Terrorist-side, RAD syndicate gave itself a leg up by claiming the Pistol and the follow-up round. As the teams entered their first buy round, it was Revenge Esports who managed to successfully close out a 2 vs 2 post-plant retake on the B site. topped it up with a 4th round win to level the score 2-2. A notable highlight of the match came on the very next round when Cross shut down a B rush with an ace and taking his team to a lead for the first time in the match. The neck to neck affair continued until the score reached 5-5 when psy decided to take hold of the game. His 17 kills on the T-side bolstered his team to a comfortable 9-6 score-line as the half closed out in RAD’s favour.
The second half saw the same narrative repeat itself with Revenge Esports once again trading the first two rounds won by RAD. However once the score-line reached 11-8, Revenge Esports never took their foot off gas. psy, who had been a thorn in Revenge Esports’ side during the first half of the game, continued to resist Revenge's attack on the connector by being a force of resistance. He stood head and shoulders above his teammates as his K-D of 27-17 was monumental in closing out the game with a score-line of 16-8 in RAD Syndicate’s favour. On the side of Revenge, TN was the only force of resistance with his 20 kills, while Major and Jor1LA failed to even reach double digits.
