MOUZ says bye to dexter

MOUZ drops dexter

In-game leader's time with team comes to an end

MOUZ have announced that their in-game leader dexter will not be apart of their active lineup after being dropped from the active roster.

dexter joined the team in 2021 and led the likes of frozen, ropz, acoR and Bymas and took the team to incredible heights in 2022. dexter led the team to the playoffs in IEM Cologne 2022 and to the top four at the IEM Rio Major 2022. This year, 2023, has been a testing one for the Australian in-game leader, with MOUZ experiencing unsatisfactory results. Poor showing at IEM Katowice, IEM Rio and the final CS:GO Major in Paris only added the pressure on dexter and it's eventually led to the team dropping him from their roster.

dexter though, isn't the only MOUZ player who has been removed from the active roster, as the organisation even benched JDC a couple of days ago. Reports suggest GamerLegion's in-game leader siuhy will be replacing dexter, following a stunning Paris Major run and being a former MOUZ NXT player, it's a homecoming from the Pole.

I am really thankful for the time we got to share with Chris in MOUZ. Chris arrived in Hamburg under very difficult circumstances in the middle of Covid and started a new chapter in Germany. It cannot be overstated how much respect I have for the commitment he showed during his 2 1/2 years with the team. Chris story with us is extraordinary and I am extremely happy that we got to do this adventure together. I am convinced Chris will be successful wherever he goes. We will follow his career and always cheer for him“
