Indian female team suffers loss in Riyadh opener

Kyrgyzstan eased past India in the IESF Asian Championship CS:GO Female, as they took a comfortable win on Overpass in the best-of-one game.

India started their campaign on Overpass with Kyrgyzstan starting on the T side. Xyaa's 1v1 against Jammie saw India pick up the opening pistol but Kyrgyzstan responded with a force buy as Jammie clutched out a 1v2 on the A site. A wersiee multi-kill on the B side gave Kyrgyzstan their second. A quad kill from Xyaa at the B site gave India their second round, in the first gun round of the game. Kyrgyzstan converted a 4v5 on the A site to secure their sixth as they were running through the Indian defence and also crushing the CT economy.

Jammie's triple kill secured the half for Kyrgyzstan as they went 8-2 up. Sway's aggressive AWPing in the connector helped India put up their third on the board. A quad kill from Stormyyy including a 1v2 clutch on the B site saw India put up back-to-back rounds. A Jammie ace saw Kyrgyzstan ended the first half with a 10-5 lead as they converted a 3v5 in the final round with the Indian team once again over extending unnecessarily, as they did for the majority of the half.

COCO's 1v2 helped India win the second pistol. India converted against the force buy but a triple from Destroy_Zloy in an eco round saw Kyrgyzstan pick up their first CT round. A triple hold from kitosyy saw Kyrgyzstan secure their 14th and they closed out the map at 16-8 with Jammie ending the game with 29 kills. For India, it was Xyaa on top of the scoreboard with 21 kills.

India will take on Saudi Arabia in the next best-of-one game.
