Velocity Gaming faced Medal Esports in a match where both teams were coming off of a 0-6 run in the tournament so far and it was an opportunity for one of them to get on board but unfortunately for Velocity Gaming, it wasn't them. They are 0-7 in the tournament after this loss and we got a chance to talk to Logan from Velocity Gaming, here's what he had to say.

You guys came really close to closing out Inferno, what happened towards the end?

"The thing is, we've been having a lot of roster shuffles and we need to practice a lot with the new roster and put time into the game. We did pretty good compared to past games where we kept getting 16-2, 16-3, 16-5 but here we came close to winning both maps."

Pushed Ancient into overtime and again, almost won it, can you talk about that?

"The thing is, we have a massive ping disadvantage and it's very frustrating, you cannot peek fast. They are just swinging out and killing us like machine! It's not a good feeling but still we managed to get rounds and push it into overtime, fortunately. If we get 5 ping and are on the same page, we'll destroy them, I'm damn sure"

Syah (Syahhftw) has joined you guys, 7 more games to go, what are your plans?

"We have 7 games left but I don't think we can qualify because of the round difference but we need to win a few more for our self respect, we don't want to go 14-0. He (Syahhftw) is a really good player but I think we should've brought him here early. He came after we had lost 5 matches already and its hard to coordinate and communicate with all these roster shuffles and practice is hard too."
