MOUZ hang on to see off TheMongolz scare
torzsi's 50 kills made sure MOUZ avoided a loss to TheMongolz in the Cologne Play-in opener. TheMongolz pushed MOUZ to double overtime but siuhy and his boys managed to hang on for the win.
TheMongolz kicked off things on the CT side of Nuke and it was a clean pistol start. Pistol conversions saw them go 3-0 up. siuhy's 1v1 against mzinho saw MOUZ put up their first T round. MOUZ tied the game quickly at 3-3 but it was mzinho's 1v1 against xertioN saw TheMongolz retake the lead at 4-3. A frozen triple saw MOUZ keep themselves in the game. A Techno4k triple saw TheMongolz deny MOUZ a late execute to keep the scores even at 5-5 and a hasteka double mow-down at secret saw TheMongolz retake the lead once again. 910's quad kill on ramp with the AWP saw TheMongolz secure seven and bLitz and mzinho turned around a 2v3 to see them win out the opening half as mzinho came in with yet another 1v1. TheMongolz ended the opening half with a 9-6 lead.
mzinho kicked off the second half with another 1v1 to see TheMongolz put up 10. A clean pistol conversion saw TheMongolz go 11-6 up but it was MOUZ who won the opening gun round as Jimpphat got a 1v1 against mzinho. MOUZ made it three in a row but a double opener from bLitz at the lower bombsite saw TheMongolz back on the scoreboard. A 910 double saw TheMongolz convert a late B hit to secure their 13th. A double opener from torzsi and the AWPer closed out a clean retake from MOUZ to put up their 10th. MOUZ made it four in a row to tie up the game at 13-13. xertioN's 1v1 against hasteka, as he got in a smoke defuse saw MOUZ put up 14. 910's double saw TheMongolz turn around a 3v5 on the A site kept TheMongolz in the game and secured all 30 rounds. A quick B hit saw TheMongolz pick up match point. A crucial double from Jimpphat saw MOUZ make sure that the overtime was required the secure the result.
A bLitz and 910 double saw TheMongolz turn around a 4v5 to take the first round of OT. Jimpphat's triple on B site saw MOUZ get their first OT round and MOUZ ended the opening half with a 17-16 lead. MOUZ picked up 18 as they kept it clean on the T side but mzinho and hasteka's double on the A side saw TheMongolz keep it to a round round game at 17-18. A double opener from bLitz at Garage saw TheMongolz take it to double overtime.
torzsi's quad saw MOUZ pick up the opening round of double OT saw the MOUZ AWP-er secure his 40 bomb. xertioN and frozen's quick A hit saw MOUZ put up the 20th and they ended double overtime's first half with a 20-19 lead. torzsi kicked off the second half of double OT with yet another multi-kill as the AWPer helped MOUZ secure match point. MOUZ closed the map at 22-19 with torzsi ending the map with a quad which put the Hungarian on 50 kills.
