"I was feeling more confident on Ancient" - SH4DY
Medal Esports finally got their first win of the tournament, after which we got a chance to talk to SH4DY from Medal Esports and here's what he had to say about the game and their plans going forward.
Inferno looked sketchy towards the end, can you talk about Inferno?
"Our setups weren't working out, we were having a little issue with comms and even when we knew what they were doing, we were 1 or 2 seconds behind. We knew they would pop Apts but still we were unprepared. Tony was our coach today, we took a timeout and he told us to chill and concentrate on the coming rounds instead of the ones we had lost."
Nearly fumbled Ancient but wrapped it towards the end, what happened there?
"I was feeling more confident on Ancient. We were 1 map up, so we had the wiggle room to make some plays and also I am pretty comfortable on the B-site of Ancient. We nearly closed it out in regulation when we had 3 on B but it was really unlucky. We knew we had this in overtime so went went for a double AWP setup and it worked out for us."
What are your plans going forward? Will Tony join you on the server soon?
"Very soon! Hopefully after the next 2 games. We're booking tickets for him, he has his VISA sorted but vexy (godvexy) is a really good player and we can perform well with him too."
