Monte eases past Imperial
Imperial, bolstered by the augmentation of HEN1 and felps, took on Monte on Nuke. Starting on the CT side, Monte gained a strong headstart, securing the pistol round and successfully converting the follow-up round, leading to a score of 4-1. Under the guidance of their new IGL, VINI, the team heavily relied on orchestrating late-round hits. They strategically ran down the clock before executing site hits, often employing one lurker while the rest of the team moved as a cohesive unit. Imperial's strategy bore fruit, granting them a streak of 7 rounds. Monte came with a counter at the end of the closely contested half, claiming the final three rounds to reduce Imperial's lead to 8-7.
On the T-side, Monte took up the mantle of the round's tempo. They felt much more at ease, as they claimed the first three rounds of the second half. When the guns rolled out, HEN1, who was looking red-hot with 15 kills in the first half was expected to do most of the heavy lifting on the CT side. However, as he failed to make a difference, Monte dominated on the T side. sdy cleverly kept switching pace throughout the half, keeping the CT's guessing. The game ended with a scoreline of 16-9, with Imperial managing to secure only 1 round during their defensive efforts.
