"We need to start everything from scratch" - Rossi

After yet another defeat, this time at the hands of Velocity Gaming, we got a chance to talk to Rossi from Medal Esports. Here's what he had to say.

Last time you played VG, you defeated them on Inferno and Ancient. Why did you go with Mirage this time around?

We actually didn't pick Mirage. We weren't prepared for Mirage gameplay. We were expecting something other than Mirage. They had a good preparation on that map and we didn't. That's it.

In previous discussions, you told me that cara and you are the ones who dictate how you are going to play out the round. But today on Inferno, we saw SH4DY being really effective with his lurks. How big of a voice does he have in the team?

As an individual, the initiative is quite less from him. But we are still trying to work with it. And let others talk so he doesn't talk much. So that's how we are capitalizing in-game.

The team has all the right pieces. No one lacks individually. Yet you are failing to win matches. What's going wrong?

Yeah, I think as individuals we are doing good performance-wise but the teamwork is not at all there. So that's why we are failing a lot. We had the teamwork before, but currently no idea why we are not playing as a proper team. Probably need to start everything from scratch so we can start building up good performances in the future.
