"We either die together or we fight and win together" - KiiLSwitCh

After a very hard-fought victory against Enigma Gaming, we got a chance to talk to KiiLSwitCh from Gods Reign. Here's what he had to say.

Close game today, how does it feel to come out on top?

Feels really good. The last game against Engima was very bad. But I am happy that everyone is stepping up and performing. We finally found a middle ground between finding some structure and finding a middle ground. And I am really happy that things are working out for us.

Roflko said that you guys came prepared today. And that you watched a lot of demos. Is that true? Did you spend a lot of hours in studying them?

Yeah, we watched our demo against them from the last match. Pokémon and Crazy_Gamer added a lot in the preparation against enigma. We didn't anti-strat or anything, but we noted down our mistakes and knew what we wanted to do today. And I just wanted to make sure, even my teammates wanted to make sure that we don't make mistakes. Because I think in the last leg we lost rounds because of our own mistakes. They played good, but we lost most of the rounds because of our own mistakes. So we made sure that everybody has to correct their mistakes. Play together. Like if they are rushing A long or B long, we play together. We either die together, or we win the round and fight together.

When you were down 15-10 on Inferno, did you change something to up to bring yourself back to winning ways?

Especially on Inferno, it was very exhausting, honestly. We didn't really change our setups. We did what we did in the practice server. We knew where we should draw our boundaries. Because we wanted to make sure, if 3 players are going A or B, then the two players should not die. They should wait for the information and react accordingly. So our rotations were very good today. Like they were really good. I think we won because of the rotations, nothing else. Because we knew what was happening around the map.

How did the team react to that ace from Rev3nn?

It was insane. We were like it was 14-15. There was like a timeout, and everyone was like 'kya karna hai?' (what should we do?) and I'm like do whatever you want. Then we decided that Crazy_Gamer is going to push mid. I am going to cover him from second mid, and these guys are going to be waiting for a B rush. Then Crazy_Gamer died, and it was a 3v5. And we were like, "this is kind of messed up" (laughs). But then I peeked mid. I got some information that only one guy was holding mid for information. So we knew it was going to be B. Then we stacked double B. Then Rev3nn just went berserk with the AWP. He just killed everybody. And once he killed the C4, he was like "I am going to kill 4 more".
