Vitality ease past MIBR
While the single elimination bracket of the Gamers8 might be seen as a chance for the non-favourites to cause some chaos, Vitality made sure MIBR were up to no such antics in their Gamers8 opener.
The opening map was MIBR's pick of Anubis as they picked up the pistol on the T side. It was a 3-0 start from the Brazilians before Vitality went on a six-round streak. It was 8-7 lead for Vitality at the half as MIBR ended with three rounds in a row.
A Magisk and ZywOo double saw Vitality pick up the second pistol and recent Major champions were 11-7 up in no time after the two conversions. Another Magisk multi-kill saw Vitality pick up the first gun round of the second half and it was a flawless T side which saw Vitality pick up Anubis at 16-7 with ZywOo topping the scoreboard with 21 kills in a strong team performance from the Major champions.
Inferno was Vitality's pick as they started on the T side. Vitality took the opening pistol and were 5-0 up before MIBR got their first defensive round. A Spinx 1v3 on the B site saw Vitality go 7-1 up and a flameZ 1v2 from Graveyard saw Vitality secure double digits in the opening half. flameZ ended the half with another clutch, a 1v1 this time on the B site which saw Vitality take a 11-4 lead.
A Spinx triple on a B site hold saw Vitality pick up both pistols on Inferno. Vitality picked up the first two rounds before MIBR got their first T round in the first gun round of the second half. Vitality replied with a force by as Magisk and ZywOo turned a 2v3 in their favour on the B site. A ZywOo 1v2 saw Vitality secure match and series point and Vitality picked up the series on a saved AWP buy from ZywOo with upgraded pistols at 16-8.

Vitality now will play the winner of the NAVI - FURIA game in their quarter-final game.
