With everything on the line, 7SEA kicked off their T-campaign on Anubis with a scorching 5-nil start. However, a hasty spawn B rush call proved to be their undoing, as they found themselves pushing through a smoke, only to be met by pistols, resulting in the loss of the round. Nevertheless, they bounced back, by capitalizing a 3v4 post-plant hold to put up their 6th. Realizing they cannot let 7SEA dictate the pace, Crazy_Gamer started making proactive plays in the latter part of their first half. And despite a 3v1 loss to Bhavi, GR did well to recover to get 5 rounds on the board at the end of the first half.
While GR perpetuated their momentum in the opening two rounds, narrowing the margin to 10-7, 7SEA started dominating in the gun rounds, as they extended their lead to 14-10. Yet, GR managed to find their footing on the T-side, closing the gap to 14-13. As the game neared its crescendo, 7SEA's composed and calculated retakes allowed them to successfully seal the map 16-13.
Vertigo's first half started off with GR on the T-side and 7SEA on the CT. The proceedings kicked off in a seesaw manner, right from the outset as GR managed to win the first 2 rounds and 7SEA retaliated with the next two. While this exchange went on till 5-5, by denying 7SEA the opportunity to save, GR gained an edge. They disrupted 7SEA's financial stability and finally managed to string together multiple rounds, to take a 9-6 lead into the second half.
7SEA stormed onto the T-side with unwavering intensity, affording minimal respite to GR's defenses as they systematically dismantled their CT formation. With a mere single round conceded, they concluded the map with an authoritative 16-10 score-line.
