"I will play all the Indian tournaments that are coming up" - Rossi

Reckoning Esports concede 2-1 series to Medal Esports

Medal Esports end their run in Skyesports Masters 2023 with a win against Reckoning Esports, their second win of the tournament. While the outing was not ideal for Medal Esports, they had their moments where they kept things close and put up good fights every now and then. After the match we got a chance to talk to Rossi from Medal Esports and here's what he had to say about the series, the tournament and his plans for the future.

A good mental reset, came back and closed the series, can you talk us through the whole series?

"First off, there was no preparation. We did not try to prepare because our team is a bit sloppy right now, so we just went in to play freely. We talked about the match and said- Guys, this is just a +40 elo game, just play it like a FACEIT game and we're going to win. That's pretty much the mindset we had for the whole series."

Do you think cara and Tony's early arrivals could've changed your outcome in the tournament?

"Our whole journey was not good, when compared to other teams. Unfortunate that we could not get our foreigners early and Tony joined us with just 4-5 matches to go, so yeah, it would've made a lot of difference. We couldn't get the momentum back and by that time the team morale was really low. Probably if we had our 5 in boot camp from game 1, we could've given a better fight."

What are your plans going forward from here?

"Myself, personally will play all the Indian tournaments that are coming up and even we don't know what is next for us as a team. It all comes down to the Org's dedcision."
