VERTEX tear apart Looking for Org
Looking for Org (LFO) started off on the T-side of their map pick, Inferno and despite conceding the first 2 rounds, converted their first gun round and strung up 4 in a row to overtake VERTEX. Thereafter, rounds were traded back and forth for a while but VERTEX gained momentum towards the end of the half, running down the clock and securing a retake to close out a 9-6 half in their favor.

VERTEX started off the second half with the same momentum putting 3 in a row. LFO, answered back but it was too little and too late as VERTEX secured match point dropping just 2 rounds in the second half at 8-15. VERTEX conceded a round to the clock but wasted no time in closing out the next, securing Inferno 16-9 and going 1-0 up in the series.
Nearly everyone from VERTEX secured HLTV ratings in excess of 1.25 meanwhile, it was just Hatz who showed up for LFO with 23 frags at an ADR of 101.
The narratives repeated going into Vertigo as VERTEX got off to a 3-0 start on the T-side, only for LFO to close the gap and steal the lead at 4-3. VERTEX geared up and toppled LFO's defense to close out a 9-6 half in their favor again but this time, everyone from LFO seemed to be in the groove.
LFO could not have asked for a better start to the second half, as they strung up 4 in a row to close the gap straight away and get ahead at 10-9. VERTEX took a breather, and turned things around, leaving no gaps in their defense to reach 10-14, as they stood within touching distance of closing out the series.
LFO went for a fast mid play with a couple of upgraded pistols and SMGs with their backs against match and series point at 15-11 and secured a plant on the B-site, breaking VERTEX's economy to stay alive in the series. Things nearly got out of hand for LFO as VERTEX, with a saved M4 and 4 USPs brought the round down to a 4v2 in their advantage but LFO held their nerve and closed the round but VERTEX bought the next round and denied LFO's T-side execute, closing out Vertigo 16-13 and the series 2-0.
Despite the 2-0, the series proved to be close with almost everyone on the server crossing 30 frags across two maps. malta, ADDICT and hazr topped the board for VERTEX with 44, 44 and 42 frags to their names. Hatz put up 43 frags across the series for LFO.
