Movistar Riders thump FURIA
Starting off on the CT-side of Overpass, FURIA won the pistol round but fumbled the anti-eco and Movistar Riders grabbed the opportunity with both hands, to run away with a 7-2 lead on their T-side. FURIA were on the verge of finding their footing late in the half but Movistar Riders closed out a 9-6 T-half in their favor.
Movistar Riders started the second half with a pistol round win and anti-eco conversion and FURIA answered back with 2 of their own but unfortunately for FURIA, that was all they could get, as Movistar Riders, dropping just 2 rounds in the second half, closed out Overpass 16-8, going 1-0 up in the series.
Movistar Riders flew off to a massive 11-0 start on the CT-side of Nuke. Movistar Riders had answers to nearly anything that FURIA would come up with. adamS and Martinez proved to be a nuisance for FURIA, disrupting their plays and executes round after round, through timely, calculated aggression. FURIA found thier footing towards the end of the half, stringing up 4 in a row but the half ended 11-4, massively in favor of FURIA.
Riding the momentum, FURIA strung up 5 in a row to start off the second half, closing the gap at 9-11. Movistar Riders broke FURIA's 9-round win streak at 9-12 but FURIA still went on to level the score at 12-12, setting up Nuke for a photo finish. At 13-13, Movistar Riders converted a 2v5 round with an extremely late A-hit, going 14-13, now within touching distance of closing out the series. Breaking FURIA's economy, Movistar Riders reached match point at 15-13 and converting it 16-13 to close out Nuke and the series 2-0.
