Wasted Potential rode the momentum, taking the pistol round in the second half and converting the next few rounds, giving them a 11-6 lead over L.O.T Gaming. L.O.T Gaming started reading Wasted Potential's T-side comparatively better, countering them and levelling the score at 11-11 with a 5 round win streak.
Wasted Potential broke L.O.T Gaming's win streak at 11-12 and their bank at 11-13, regaining their lead and confirming their 14th as well against a damaged CT-economy. Wasted Potential secured match point at 15-12 and L.O.T Gaming were playing with their backs against match point, with a very weak buy. It all came down to a 1v1 where WD clutched it out, keeping L.O.T Gaming alive at 13-15.
