Wasted Potential hammer Old School to book semifinal spot

The final quarterfinal of the Upthrust Esports Pro Showdown Season 2 saw Wasted Potential (WP) take on Old School (OS) and the decider map was Inferno.

WP took the opening pistol as 3vilpr1nc3 won a 1v1 on the B attack from OS. Abby denied WP a 3-0 start as he helped OS take their first round once they brought out the guns in round 3. A NeverGiv3uP triple mow down in Banana against the eco from OS saw WP reply to OS's first round with four of their own as they went 6-1 up. It took a wildboy double opener, part of a quad kill that saw OS secure their second round. Once again WP didn't let OS get back-to-back rounds as NeverGiv3uP got yet another triple in Banana. NeverGiv3uP and qqqq's constant Banana pushes and shutdowns saw WP end the opening half with a 12-3 lead.

s1mple's 1v1 against YellowFlash saw OS take the second pistol. YellowFlash's double Banana opener on the force buy saw WP answer back immediately. WP wrapped it up quickly at 16-8 as they booked their semifinals spot in the Upthrust Esports Pro Showdown Season 2. It was YellowFlash who caused all sorts of problems for Old School, topping the scoreboard for Wasted Potential with 27 kills.
