5yclone eliminate Imperial
The match started off on Nuke, where Imperial got off to a solid 3-1 start. 5yclone managed to take the first gun round to build up a small 5-3 lead. With JOTA and boltz both popping off, Imperial closed the half with 10 in their tally.
A pistol round going their way set them up to a massive 14-5 lead. The game was basically won for the Brazilians, but 5yclone kept their confidence high. Mercury and Jamyoung went nuclear and round by round they battled their way back into the game. In an impossible turn of events, they went all the way and took the map 16-14.
That momentum did not carry over to Anubis, where 5yclone fell completely flat. Their attack found no traction securing a mere 4 rounds in the half. felps dropped 20 frags to push it across the line as Imperial tied the series 1-1.
The final map of Overpass was a closer fought battle. Imperial held a slight lead throughout the half, but 5yclone were in control going into the half. JamYoung was once again at the top of the scoreboard and helped 5yclone get up to 16 eliminating Imperial from ESL Pro League Season 18.
