Red Viperz start Skyesports Souvenir International 2023 with comfortable win

Team Bangladesh breezes past Team Nepal

Red Viperz (RV) from Bangladesh faced Nepal's No Talk Only Kill in the opening match of the Skyesports Souvenir International Playoffs 2023.

No Talk Only Kill's pick of Mirage was the opening map with Red Viperz starting on the T side. Mantis' double on A site, faking an execute alone saw the Bangladeshi team take the opening pistol and Mantis' 1v1 in round three saw them go 3-0 up to start their T side. r1yal's B site AWP hold finally saw No Talk Only Kill get their first round in round five. A crucial Outsider double in an A execute saw Red Viperz secure the half at 8-4 and it was a 9-6 lead for the T side at the half.

Nixy's double helped Red Viperz take the second pistol to secure double digits. Szohn's 1v1 on the B site saw No Talk Only Kill get their first T round but the Nepali team could manage only two rounds as a Nixy triple helped Red Viperz close the map at 16-8.

Red Viperz's pick of Nuke was the second map and Mantis and Outsider held on against No Talk Only Kill's retake attempt to pick up the T sided pistol. After picking up the opening rounds, Szohn's double mow down at Secret saw No Talk Only Kill get their first CT round. r1yal's AWP from outside along with JdX finally got going, which saw No Talk Only Kill tie up the score at 4-4. A quick A hit with Mantis rushing in with the Mac-10 saw Red Viperz quickly secure the half at 8-4 and it was an 10-5 lead for the Bangladeshi team as JdX's triple from A site helped the Nepali team pull back one final round.

It was JdX in the middle of the action again which saw No Talk Only Kill pick up the second pistol and they got three in a row before Red Viperz's CT side got going. A quad kill from Outsider put Red Viperz on match point and the Bangladeshi team secured Nuke at 16-9 with Mantis closing the map with a 1v2.
