ESL Pro League Season 18 to finish on CS:GO

Amidst the launch of Counter-Strike 2 last night, ESL have revealed that their current ESL Pro League edition, ESL Pro League Season 18, will finish on CS:GO.

The launch of CS2 eventually led to Complexity and Monte's Playoff game getting delayed by the CS2 launch as servers went down globally and team's resumed playing on with default inventories. Every since Valve teased the launch of CS2 for this week, multiple teams have been questioning what would happen should the game have released in between a tournament and that is exactly what happened.

The decision though has been made to not switch to CS2 in between a tournament and the Playoffs will finish on CS:GO.
