ENCE breezes into EPL semis
The third quarterfinal saw ENCE face Movistar Riders, with ENCE looking for another playoffs spot and trying to cement themselves as the best team in the world.
The series started on Movistar's pick of Overpass and dycha's Monster hold saw ENCE take the opening pistol. ENCE started with a 3-0 lead before Movistar converted a 3v5 to get their first round. It was all ENCE from there on as a stubborn defence from Snappi and his boys saw ENCE end the opening half of Overpass at 13-2. dycha's 1v1 win against Martinez saw ENCE secure the second pistol and Movistar were put out of their misery quickly, with ENCE securing the map at 16-2.
Anubis was ENCE's pick, which was the second map of the series as ENCE was looking to close out the series at 2-0. ENCE got the pistol starting on the CT side and an dycha quad against the force buy helped them run away to a 8-0 lead as they won the half with ease. mopoz's 1v2 on the A site which had Martinez open up the site with a triple AWP kill saw Movistar get their first round on the board on round 9. Movistar salvaged the half with five rounds as ENCE switched to their T side with a 10-5 lead.
ENCE picked up a comfortable second pistol and back to back pristine B hits saw ENCE secure map point at 15-5. ENCE booked their ESL Pro League Season 18 semifinals spot by picking up Anubis at 16-5 and securing the series 2-0.
