Gods Reign edges past KingPins
The second semi-final of the Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup 2023 saw Gods Reign face KingPins with both teams looking to book their spot in the LAN Grand Final in Mumbai next month against Legacy eSports.
The BO1 semi-final took place on Ancient and with some of the country's finest in the server, it was an evenly poised match. It was KingPins starting on the CT side of Ancient and Bhavi and co. took a 7-5 lead at the break. It was yet another neck-and-neck half as Gods Reign managed to edge out the second half at the same score which saw the match go to overtime. It was Gods Reign though, putting down their foot in overtime to secure the map at 16-14.
Gods Reign will face Legacy eSports in the LAN Final, which will be held in Mumbai in November 2023.
