Reliance's CS2 event's finalists secured

FiredUp Gaming and Blaze Gaming into the finals

After three days of action, the first ever Counter-Strike 2 LAN event in India, the Digital Level Up CS2 2023 tournament's final two teams have been finalised.

Round 1 -
The opening round, which had 32 matched scheduled saw majority of the matches see teams get Byes with Blazing, KingPins and 4ever cool being amongst those who actually got to play and won their opening round matches.

Round 2-
The second round also saw a whole bunch of teams not turn up for their matches but amongst those (matches) that took place, Gods Reign's loss to FiredUp Gaming was the biggest talking point.

Round 3 -
The final 16 saw more action compared to the previous rounds but out of the 8 games schedule, only 6 took place, with Blazing and Iyati getting walkovers.

Quarter-finals

The top 8 saw intense action with a couple of big names putting their foot down to avoid upsets.

Semi-finals

Blazing 16 - 14 2EZ Gaming

While 2EZ Gaming started the first semi-final with a 11-1 half on Nuke, Blazing were determine not to give up as they bounced back with a 11-1 half of their own to take the game to overtime. Blazing eventually pulled in through at 16-14 to complete an incredible comeback and book their spot in the LAN Grand Final.

FiredUp Gaming 13 - 5 KingPins
FiredUp started with an 8-4 lead in the opening half of their semi-final on Nuke and it was almost a flawless wrap up as they dropped a solitary round in the second half to book their spot in the final after taking down KingPins 13-5.

The INR 5,00,000 prize pool LAN event, which will be the country's first ever CS2 LAN event will have its Grand Finals on October 22 in Mumbai.

The tournament though hasn't been without its fair share of controversies, with multiple players speaking up against the poor managing and organisation of the event.
