Gods Reign secures first place in the Open Qualifiers of Turkish CS2 event

Gods Reign have clinched the top spot in the Open Qualifiers for the upcoming Turkish CS2 tournament

Yet another CS2 tournament has made its presence known, and this time it's set to unfold in Turkey. With an enticing prize pool of $21,000, the Monster Reloaded CS2 tournament is poised to be a thrilling event. The competition will bring together four participants, each representing the German, British, Arabian, and Turkish Qualifiers. Gods Reign was one of the three Indian teams that participated in the GCC Qualifier 3. It encompassed three rounds of BO3s, during which Gods Reign received a bye in the initial round. They went on to secure victories against ROG Academy and ACME with convincing scorelines of 2-0 and 2-1, respectively, ultimately securing the coveted first position.

Gods Reign vs ACME

The roster of ACME featuring R2B2, Catastr0phE, Bhavi, JaiHind, and K0ZA, gave Gods Reign a tough fight in the final round of the GCC Qualifier. The match unfolded across three closely contested maps: Mirage, Anubis, and Ancient. Starting with Mirage, Gods Reign faced a narrow defeat with a score of 10-13, despite holding a 7-5 advantage at the end of the first half.

However, they bounced back in the subsequent maps. Ancient witnessed their commanding victory, concluding with a dominant scoreline of 13-4. The momentum continued on Anubis, where they secured a convincing win with a final score of 13-7.

In the forthcoming Arabian Qualifiers, Gods Reign will contend within a group of six teams. Team Shush and 5aleha 3l allah have already secured their spots within the groups, while the remaining three teams are yet to be announced. The remaining matches for the remaining 3 teams will happen on every Saturday for 3 weeks.

The victor of the Arabian Qualifier will earn a slot in the Monster Reloaded CS2 tournament, while the runner-up will be rewarded with a cash prize of $750.
