f1redup: "Bhavi's PC crashed 9-10 times"

After a tough loss against Marcos Gaming at the opening match of DreamHack Hyderabad, we talked to f1redup from Revenant Esports about what went wrong for them.

It was a tough game for you throughout. Marcos never allowed you to execute your game plan with their aggressive pushed. What really went wrong from your side?

I think losing the first three rounds was still okay. Then we won the first buy round, and then Bhavi's PC crashed. And even after the technical timeout, it didn't get fixed right away. In the next round, it crashed again. So we never gained any momentum. Every time we tried, we faced some technical difficulties. His PC crashed for around 9-10 times throughout the game.

Were you satisfied with your 8-4 first half?

I think considering everything, we could have scored 7-5. But even with 8-4, we were confident we could close out the CT side. Unfortunately, we could never build any momentum.
