Firedup Gaming cause major upset in Hyderabad

After being handed a proper beating by Gods Reign in their first game of DreamHack Hyderabad 2023, Firedup Gaming were looking to find momentum as they returned to the server shortly after the first of two games against Gods Reign.

Mirage was the playground for the second game between the two teams and it was Gods Reign starting on the T side. Firedup started with the CT-sided pistol win and went on to take a 4-0 lead. Gods Reign, though salvaged the half and went on to tie it at 6-6 as reV3nnnn's AWP finally entered the server.

Firedup's quick B hit saw them take the second pistol and the lead of the match and they just dropped one round in the second half as they won the match at 13-7.

For Gods Reign, their Playoff hopes are all but done as now it is out of their hand and for Firedup Gaming, who have two games left against Enigma Gaming, they just need to win one of those two to qualify for the Playoffs.
