Indian teams go down fighting

The sixth and final Intel Tulpars Reloaded 2023 GCC Qualifier saw two Indian teams take part, as it was Marcos Gaming and Ace's new team plusW1 hoping to make it to the Regional Finals.

Ace's new team plusW1 started the Intel Tulpars Reloaded 2023 GCC Qualifier 6 with an absolute hammering of midnite esports, taking them down 13-1 on Nuke.

Marcos Gaming, India's no.1 ranked team, meanwhile also had a strong start to their campaign, defeating Pakistani team Aimstars 13-6 on Ancient in their BO1 game.

In their round 2 game, the two Indian teams, plusW1 and Marcos Gaming faced off against each other. Marcos started strongly with a 13-4 win on Nuke but it was absolute domination from plusW1 on Inferno as they took down Marcos 13-2 and in the series decider on Overpass it was Catastr0phE putting in a stellar showing again, as he had throughout the series, which saw plusW1 stun Marcos 13-10 to take the series 2-1.

In the final of the Qualifier 6, the Indian team went up against Middle Eastern team 7ashneloss. Mirage was a rout from 7ashneloss as they took down plusW1 13-5 but on the second map, it was a different story. plusW1 started with an 8-4 lead but it was the UAE-majority team who bounced back in the second half to pip out plusW1 13-11 to secure the series 2-0.

The six teams from the GCC Qualifier, which include two from India in Gods Reign and Revenant Esports, along with the two invited teams will now fight it out in the Regional Finals on November 18 - 19.
