First round of ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023 Asia Closed Qualifier sees a 13-0
After ATOX and Newhappy fought their way through the ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023 Asia Open Qualifier, the Closed Qualifier was set to get underway with TYLOO and TheMongolz waiting to get things underway.
The opening map was the Chinese team's pick of Overpass as TheMongolz started on the CT side. A stellar CT side from 910 saw TheMongolz take a 10-2 lead and it was wrapped up quickly at 13-2, with the Mongolian team barely breaking a sweat.
TheMongolz's pick of Nuke was a much closer affair with a 6-6 half getting things underway. It was TheMongolz starting with the second half pistol on their CT side and it was just two rounds dropped on their CT side which saw TheMonoglz win their pick 13-8 and take the series 2-0.

The other upper bracket semi-final saw ATOX take on TYLOO with ATOX's pick of Anubis starting things off. It was a close half at 7-5 for ATOX in the opening half but JamYoung, Moseyuh and kaze but in a strong showing on the CT side which saw TYLOO take the map at 13-11.
TYLOO started their pick of Vertigo with an absolute rout, going flawless on the T side to go 12-0 up and made sure it was a 13-0 after taking the second pistol, which secured the map and the series.
