Techno banned in new VAC wave

Over the last few hours, a massive ban wave has hit CS2 servers that has affected hundreds of accounts. Several pro players were caught in the ban wave, as false-positives continue to plague the game.

Techno, the IGL and rifle star of TheMongolz, has also received a ban in this ban wave, the organization announced on X. The team is set to compete in the ECL Season 46 Asia-Pacific tomorrow, a match that has fallen into jeopardy following this news.

It is speculated that the ban has been caused by GPU driver updates, with users reporting both AMD and Nvidia systems being affected. A post from a csgostats developer on Reddit, estimates over 2000 accounts affected and has seen nearly 400 comments in the last few hours.

While Valve has not made a statement so far, given the similarity to the AMD Anti-Chill situation earlier, it is likely that these bans will be reversed once the driver issues are resolved.
