True Rippers set for World Final trip amidst BLAST uncertainty

Following the initial announcement of participation of Marcos Gaming at the Showmatch against a team from Pakistan of the BLAST World Final 2023, recent updates have shed more light on the situation.

Initially, Marcos Gaming was assured a slot in the showmatch set to take place during the BLAST World Final commencing on December 13th, aftering winning the DreamHack Hyderabad Invitational 2023. However, both BLAST and NODWIN had refrained from providing an official statement, leaving the claim in uncertain territory.

True Rippers, who recently acquired Marcos Gaming's roster, have received confirmation from BLAST, accompanied by flight tickets for the event. Their departure from India is scheduled for the 16th of December, with plans to return on the 18th. While this solidifies their participation at the event, questions still linger about the potential appearance of a Pakistani team against True Rippers on the server.

Dust 2 India sought a statement from BLAST but, at the time of publication, was unable to secure one.

So basically we received the update regarding the tickets for Abu Dhabi BLAST Finals on Monday that is 4th of December. After that we provided them all the required details and it was a very quick response from their end as we received the tickets yesterday that is 5th of December.
We have also applied for the visa's today so yeah the team is excited for the Blast Pro Finals.
