Slow Aimers nets first win of Gladiator's League Season 3

With Enigma Gaming and Khatarnak's game being postponed, Slow Aimers and 5 Wolves were up against each other in the third game of Day 4 of Gladiator's League Season 3.

Vertigo was the battleground with Slow Aimers starting with a team ace on the CT side pistol. After converting against the eco and going 2-0 up 5 Wolves were immediately on the board once they got the guns out and quickly tied the score. Once Slow Aimers found their footing on the CT half, it was a strong defensive hold from the likes of YF, RAMBO and Do1nk which helped them take an 8-4 lead as Abd28 gave 5 Wolves a much needed round right at the end with an important 1v1 against YF on the B site.

A full house from YF and RAMBO saw Slow Aimers take both pistols of the match and while it got scary in the following eco round from 5 Wolves, Slow Aimers hung on and it was smooth sailing as they wrapped it up quickly at 13-4.

The win sees Slow Aimers secure their first win of the league while 5 Wolves, who were playing their first match of the event are yet to get off the mark. YF led the scoreboard with 21 kills and while Slow Aimers got 14 points for the win and bonus points as well, the Tournament Organisers revealed that Slow Aimers were handed a five points penalty for failing to use default agents in the game.
