Understanding The Draft Group Stages points system
With The Draft's Indian Group Stages having gotten underway yesterday and the Pakistani Group Stages getting underway today, the Group Stages is going to be played in an interesting format which is - they will be BO2 series.
Generally Counter-Strike games are either BO1 or BO3 and some events also have BO5 for their Grand Finals, but BLAST have added a unique BO2 series for The Draft's Group Stages. The BO2 series will see the veto go in the following manner:
1. Team 1 removes one map
2. Team 2 removes one map
3. Team 1 removes one map
4. Team 2 removes one map
5. Team 1 removes one map
6. Team 2 picks one map, Team 1 picks side
7. Remaining map is decider and Team 2 picks side
The Group Stages will also have points system to determine the standings in the table and the points system for the Group Stages is as follows:

3 points for a 2-0 win

1 point to both teams for 1-1 tie

0 points for 0-2 loss
The top three teams from each Group Stage (India and Pakistan) will move on to the next stage, which is the Super Six. The Super Six will be a LAN edition and will have six Legends joining each of the six teams, with the LAN taking place in Kuala Lumpur.
